Im thinking of making some updates to my Timezone Converter Utility.
Ive had some great feedback from people using the GPS AJAX/Google Maps/Google Earth/ActiveX integration. I seem to have a lot of users in the merchant navy and people who need to know if its an appropriate time to phone someone overseas
Some new politically induced changes in timezones means Ive now got a critical mass of adjustments to get published. Im considering digging up my old distributed memory project to use as a dynamic timezone database in the future.
If you want to suggest a change, feature or fix, now is the time to do it.
Looks like the latest timeconverter is not showing correct timezones for US for the cities line Chicago, Boston etc. Is this fixed in any of the releases which is not posted here.. Thanks for the very good software…
Takhns for sharing. What a pleasure to read!
It would be good if you could allow selecting multiple cities (say 3 cities at a time). So that it displays these selected cities and times on mouse-over the tray icon as well as when it is open.
I always use this very convenient tool as I have many international contacts.
However, I live in Venezuela and they moved the time zone here a little over a year ago by half an hour. (GMT -4.4 hours)If you are making adjustments to the Time Zone Converter to incorporate this please as it gets confusing as whether we are half an hour in front or half an hour behind.
Appreciated. Thank you, regards, Robin B
